If you are experiencing boost issues in your vehicle, and you have performed the process of elimination by checking for boost and vacuum leaks, then you may need to get a quality boost control solenoid. This is the COBB Tuning 3-Port Boost Solenoid which has been one of the more popular upgrades and enhancements for many turbocharged platforms. Now, this unit is available for your application to help eliminate boost fluctuations, as well as boost creep that can be common on the OEM boost control systems. Once this unit is installed then you will have stabilized boost at stock levels, or if your vehicle is tuned for high-horsepower builds. This particular solenoid features 1/8" low profile barb fittings which help keep the unit compact and are nickel coated and for extra protection against corrosion. Viton spools and seals are used throughout the long life and lubricated with Dow Corning silicone grease. The manual override is sealed with an O-ring and the wiring harness will come sealed to the casing using a waterproof grommet, and the wires are ultrasonically welded to the coil making the entire unit waterproof. Installation is simple as it mounts in the stock location and plugs directly into the stock wiring harness. The BCS will come with a custom aluminum mounting bracket along with stainless steel hardware and a boost line. Zip ties will also be provided to complete the installation. This BCS will work with internal or external wastegates, and can operate up tp 120 psi.
